Alumni Update – SA Fashion Week 2016

Elizabeth Galloway Alumni  Anmari Honiball and Tarien Malherbe  were both showing at the 2016 edition of SA Fashion Week that ran from the 5th to the 9th of April at Hyde Park Corner in Johannesburg.

Anmari Honiball graduated with a three-year Diploma in Fashion Design in 2010. Her SS16 collection, CROWS’S NEST, can be described as easy-wearing garments with bright, fun splashes of colour and quirky, unexpected detail.

Tarien Malherbe graduated with a three-year Diploma in Fashion Design in 2008. She founded Non-European as part of a mentorship program initiated by the Academy’s founder Elizabeth Malherbe, and has since gone from strength to strength. The core value of Non-European is ethical fashion practice for both men- and womenswear. Her SS16 collection is displays Tarien’s timeless approach to design and strong focus on cut and fit.
