An untamed evening in the winelands celebrating our 2nd year students. Earlier this year the academy participated in an initiative hosted by KWV and Thirsty Scarecrow to produce garments inspired by KWV’s Wild Africa Cream product. Our 2nd year students were invited to design a look consisting out of a coat and undergarment (dress, top and bottom) under the theme “Untamed Elegance”.
Students planned hair and make-up to complete their runway looks. Thank you to our favourite partners Stellenbosch Hair Academy and Isa Carstens Academy for providing your services and helping our students complete their visions.
The show was held at Thirsty Scarecrow overlooking the beautiful strawberry farm it is located on.
Students spent the afternoon prior to the fashion show presenting their creations to a panel of judges. Thank you to our special guest judges who joined us.

To end off the evening 3 finalists were announced. First place awarded to Jessica Matthysen, second place to Raabi’ah Adonis and third place to Donna Kotzé.
