Another Elizabeth Galloway alumnus, Tarien Malherbe, is no stranger to Cape Town Fashion Week, having shown her Non-European label before. Her clothes have always been about easy-to-wear garments, with a strong focus on fits and cuts. At this year’s Mercedes-Benz Cape Town Fashion Week, she continued that legacy with a range grounded in neutrals, with pops of colour – oranges, blues and greens – all of which lived beautifully with the grounding neutrals.
It’s the kind of range you could buy in its entirety and be sure it would all live together with the rest of your wardrobe. I loved the raglan-sleeve print tees, so simple yet impossible to ignore! I could certainly live with one of those statement-making tees in my wardrobe! Oh, and that bicycle, which the model brought on to the ramp. Just those two, please. Pretty please…
