Mercedes Benz Cape Town Fashion Week 2014 which took place in the CTICC last week saw a score of top South African Designers unveiling their 2015 Spring/Summer collections.

As usual, the runways held something for everyone, whether glamorous, casual, chic or quirky.

Long and flowing as well as youthfully short dresses were still popular, but the mid-lengths are making a strong come-back. Ethnic and Oriental influences abounded. Two prevalent trends seem to be pastel colours and prints; the latter often in ostensibly clashing combinations. It certainly looks as if we are set for a bright and cheerful summer, menswear not excepted!

Here are some of the looks from MBCTFW2014, to whet your appetite for the Elizabeth Galloway Fashion Event on the 16th of August.
